Hiring the Hall

Please follow these steps to make your booking:

1. Check Availability

First, please enquire about availability by contacting us (use the short form on the homepage or e-mail hognastonvillagehall@gmail.com) to confirm that your preferred date and time are free. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.

2. Complete the Booking Form

Once your date is confirmed, please fill out the Booking Form. This form gives us all the details we need about your event.

3. Read and Sign the Terms and Conditions

Before your booking can be confirmed, you must read and sign the Booking Terms and Conditions. These outline your responsibilities as a hirer and the hall's policies on use, cancellation, and safety.

4. Submit your documents

Send your completed booking form and signed terms and conditions to us by e-mail or post.

5. Confirmation

Once we've received and reviewed your documents, we'll confirm your booking and provide any additional details, including payment instructions. 

Hall Hire Rates

  • The hall is hired in half-hour blocks, with a minimum booking of one hour. Your length of booking must include any setup or clean-up time required around your event.

  • ​The hall can be hired on its own, or with use of the kitchen.

  • Residents of Hognaston and regular users who book for the benefit of residents (e.g., weekly exercise classes, club meetings, choir, etc.) may hire the hall only for £10/hour. Hire including the kitchen costs £15/hour.

  • Non-residents or users hiring the hall for commercial purposes pay £15/hour (hall only) or £20/hour (hall plus kitchen).
